Identify your pet with Pet ID
Pet ID makes permanent identification of your pet simple. A Microchip the size of a grain of Rice is easy to implant, and no anaesthetic is needed, whatever the species of animal. The process of chipping offers permanent irrefutable proof of identity.
How does it all work?
After your pet has been chipped, we register your pet’s details and your details on the pet log and pet ID databases. You will then receive a welcoming letter and personalised certificate of registration.
Immediate Benefits
If the unthinkable happens, and your pet goes missing, the international network of scanners held by the local authority Dog Wardens, Veterinary Practices, Animal Welfare Organisations such as RSPCA and NCDL, will identify your pets unique chip number. The 24 hour central database, Pet log will be contacted and your pets microchip number will confirm your address, reuniting you with your pet.
Only the Pet ID Chip gives you:
- 4 weeks free pet healthcare cover (Up to £1,000 of cover per treatment). Available to all cats under 11 years and dogs under 9 years
- Back track system for complete chip traceability
- Pet- ID microchips are coated with an anti-migratory coating ”Parlene C” to reduce migration risk
Pet Travel Scheme
Pet ID FDXB microchips conform to the requirements for the Pet Travel Scheme.
We manufacture our microchips under our own company code to the ISO standard 11784 & 11785.
We are pleased to be able to offer you the Identifier Microchip reader. This has been developed especially for the Pet Travel Scheme and is now available to the Pet owner in a choice of five colours.
The Identifier is perfect for those who wish to take their Pets abroad, where vets may not have a microchip reader available. Having an Identifier will give peace of mind at customs when returning.
